WHAT MEMBERSHIP MEANS
Founded in 1977, The Pickens County Board of REALTORS® serves as a central source of information for our members. Our main thrusts are real estate education, the promotion of professionalism in our industry and representing our REALTOR® members with legislative initiatives to create positive change for the real estate community.
Membership with the board provides members with a distinct competitive advantage as a real estate professional. Networking opportunities are provided through our Education Seminars, Membership Luncheons and Circle of Excellence Awards. The Pickens County Board’s long standing and highly respected presence in Pickens County gives you, the member, instant credibility as a REALTOR®.
PCBR Membership provides a purpose, vision and mission in the promotion and protection of the real estate industry. It also provides a means for developing life-long affiliations, an outlet for community involvement and a means of defending the American dream of home ownership and private property rights. Members of the Pickens County Board of REALTORS® aim higher, gain more and make greater strides in both their business and personal endeavors.

ARE YOU REPRESENTING YOUR INDUSTRY AS A REALTOR®?
A real estate agent is a REALTOR® when he or she becomes a member of the National Association of REALTORS® - The Voice for Real Estate, the world's largest professional association. The term REALTOR® is a legally registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics. When joining the Pickens County Board of REALTORS®, members automatically become a member of the Georgia Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.
MEMBERSHIP TYPES & FEES
In order to join the Board, you will need to pay the prorated amount of your membership fees and an application fee. PCBR's, GAR's and NAR's fiscal cycles are based on a calendar year, January 1 - December 31.
REALTOR® Member
$495/yr
A REALTOR® is defined as an individual who holds an active real estate or appraiser's license.
REALTORS® also hold membership with the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).

An Affiliate is an individual who does not hold an active real estate license, but has interests in the real estate profession.
