In January 2025, the Pickens County housing market experienced a mix of changes compared to the previous year. Total single-family home sales declined by 22.2%, while the median sales price decreased by 10.4%, and the average sales price dropped by 14.8%. However, active listings showed a significant increase of 51.5%, new listings grew by 7.7%, and the months’ supply of inventory rose by 51.8%. These shifts indicate a cooling in sales activity but an expanding inventory in the market.
