PCBR Scholarship Program

The Pickens County Board of REALTORS® is proud to support local students through its annual scholarship program. The PCBR Scholarship Program is designed to assist deserving Pickens County students who plan to continue their education at a college, university, or technical school in the State of Georgia.

Through this program, PCBR invests in the future of the community by helping students pursue their educational and career goals.

Scholarship Details

PCBR awards two $1,000 scholarships each year. Each scholarship is awarded for one academic year and is intended to help offset the cost of continuing education.

Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Applicant must be a Pickens County student.
  • Applicant must plan to attend a college, university, or vocational or technical school in the State of Georgia.
  • Applicant should have maintained an overall C+ grade-point average or equivalent at the time of the award.

The Scholarship Committee may waive the grade requirement under extraordinary circumstances.

Application Requirements

Applicants should be prepared to submit the following materials:

  • A completed 2026 PCBR Scholarship Application
  • Three written references from non-relative adults
    • No more than one reference may be from a teacher
  • A high school transcript
  • A letter of acceptance from a college, university, or vocational or technical school

If an acceptance letter is not available by the application deadline, it may be submitted afterward to Bethany Barnett at bethany@pickensrealtors.com.

How to Apply

Students may complete the scholarship application using the link below. All required materials, other than an acceptance letter that is not yet available, must be submitted by the deadline. No late submissions will be accepted.
